Windows don’t drop down when clicking unlock button

Yes, that is what the short drop down is for. Mine acts so quick, I didn't even know it was happening when I first used it. I just pull the handle and the door pops open in a fairly smooth motion. When I close the door I can hear the window quickly go up.

I am somewhat concerned about the window mechanism wearing out quicker from all the up and down motion. Time will tell.
You shouldn't worry about the window wearing out from the little up/down. I owned a Nissan 350Z and a 370Z...these are also frameless window doors and did the up/down. It is fairly common on frameless doors way back from early 2000s. My 2015 Maxima also had the ability to use the key fob to wind all windows all the way down. I loved this as on hot days I could wind them all down from inside the office before leaving (didn't have remote start). Anyway, I didn't know Bronco had ability to wind all windows down all the way using the key fob...I will need to try this to this out tomorrow! This forum is great source for great info!
