This is a minor issue but thought I would ask.

As of recent, when opening the driver side door the window does what it is supposed to do, and drops slightly. When the door is closed it goes back up, but when driving I notice the wind noise from the window. All I have to do is lower the window and re-raise it and it seals up nicely. So definitely not a big deal.

But is this a known issue and is there a fix?

There is a window fix; you can search "bronco6g fix window" and one of the several threads describing how to adjust your windows should come up. It sounds like you need to reset the motor, which isn't difficult but you have to know the sequence. But there's also a way to adjust the glass at the bottom of the door.

I want to say there was a software update that went out last year that changed how the drop feature worked, too. Can't recall exactly, though. lol

Try the window reset procedure...fully close the window, press and hold the window switch down to fully open and continue to hold down on the switch for five seconds, release the switch and pull up and continue to hold the switch until fully closed and hold for five seconds and release.

Will give that a shot. Thanks.

Did the window reset procedure work for you? I’ve tried it and it did not work.

I’ve identified the issue. When you close the door and the window raises, it jumps the rubber track and ends up on the outside of the rubber. I’ve uploaded some pictures and a video to show you what I see. When you lower the window, it jumps back on the track, and then you raise it and it steals properly. That’s why the wind noise goes away.

Super annoying. I tried to see if others have had this issue, but I bet I didn’t find the right posts. Figured I would see if you had any luck.

Yeah and good luck making it stick for more than a week or so. This is so annoying.

I had the extreme wind noise once when it didn’t quite go up enough. But it was still in proper position. The reset fixed it. Glad I don’t roll mine down much.
