Hi everyone,

Need some advice. Planning to mount Toyo Open Country 37s to the stock Sasquatch wheels with 1.5inch spacers. I have a Bronco Sasquatch w/2.5 RC lift.
Hoping to install 13.5 wide instead of 12.5 if possible. Any concern for rubbing with 13.5? Should I stick with 12.5 wide?

I don't have 1st hand experience but there was a post awhile back w/ someone running 37 x 13.5s. If memory serves they were on a zero offset wheel on 3" lift and were rubbing both the crash bar mounts as well as the fender wells.

I run Toyo RTs, 37 x 12.50 x 17, 0 offset. I stayed away from 13.50 due to there just isn’t a lot of room in there. People might run them, IDK. I don’t rub though, Icon Stage 8. I’d recommend 12.50, if nothing else, cheaper tire.

With a little trimming they fit. As @Snacktime said trim the front body mount and remove the plastic block behind the front fender well. Also you need to trim the factory rock sliders 1”.

Thank you for this info! Which one is the plastic block you are talking about?

Back side of front fender is a honeycomb shaped plastic block, behind the liner no sure of purpose. The JKS max tire clearance is basically what I did, now that’s it’s available it is the way to go.

You will need to cut the front body mount up. Then remove the rear crash bar bracket.

I’m not trying to stir the pot, but I didn’t do any of that, and I don’t rub. Might be the Icon Stage 8? I saw a thread awhile back that a member had cut his front body mount. Loved the way it looked, didn’t love that he told me it would void my warranty.

I run 37x12.5 and didn't rub at all when first installed. Now I am rubbing all over the place. Just give it time 😉

Yes it will rub, likely a lot with 13.5. Anyone that tells you otherwise has no idea what they’re taking about or they never drive over anything bigger than a stinkbug and never turn full lock lol … just search the many 37 rubbing mod threads.

Okay I decided to just go for 13.5 wide Toyo 37s M/T. Don't regret it at all. After reading posts for days, looks like even with 12.5 I would still need to do some trimming with 37s. SS Bronco was spot on. Drove it 100miles on first day in the city/freeway. No rubs until backing out and doing full lock. Seems to rub mostly on OEM sliders. Will be cutting it 1in 1/4 and cut both crash bar mount. The honeycomb one is easy hehe.

Finally got to cut them. Also took of 1inch 1/4 from rock sliders as well. No more rubs

Looks good, glad it worked out for you. I’ve been happy with the performance and the look of the wider 13.5 tire.

Nice. I run a 37' 12.5 and I am good. No rubbing but as you already know, had to do some stuff. I am also on a 4' fabtech lift.
