After looking at nearly every strut and coilover available for the Bronco and Braptor, I've settled on ORI struts (over all the other brands) for several reasons. When you know, you know...

#1 Longer stroke length in a shorter package= MOST WHEEL TRAVEL Available!

#2 Endless tuning opportunities, adjustable ride height, spring rates (Nitrogen pressure), and endless dampening rates. All owner adjustable. No need to buy new stiffer or softer springs!

#3 built in bump stops

#4 Ability to raise or lower ride height in minutes (instead of hours)

#5 Possibility of routing in the Nitrogen charge lines into the cab and into a adjustable 4-way regulator with pressure guages, to adjust the ride height from inside the cab. on all 4 together, or independently!

#6 Progressive adjustable compression stiffness (oil level)

#7 externally adjustable 24 position compression stiffness/softness dial. And also 7 position externally adjustable rebound dampening!!!

#8 light weight.

Here's a few pics and a link to their site. Highly recommend these if your willing to fabricate new upper mounts....At this time, they are the best solution available in my opinion.

Working on dialing in the Rears this week, then install the fronts soon with Braptor UCAs and LCAs for maximum wheel travel.

On the Rears I now have 16.5" of vertical wheel travel and over 18" of articulation!!!

Absolutely love how their packaging allows them to fit in between the tierod and CV without the need for an extension. Gives a lot more travel compared to the same extended length with conventional coilovers.

Impressive how they do that without a huge honkin' spring, and they aren't stupid crazy expensive either. Biggest challenge would be fixing up the mounting.

I had a set on my buggy before I parted it out….this has crossed my mind a time or 2 but I wasn’t adventurous enough to try it. Awesome 👏

What stroke length did you go with front and rear?

These are similar to what a lot of monster trucks use?

I fabricated a top hat for ORIs up front to get them as high as possible and a lower mount but when I reached out to them a year or so ago they wanted a full payment and 12-14 month lead time so I never pulled the trigger on struts. The compression length measurement is awesome with ORIs.

My plan was to chop the front fenders like you did and run a stock width long travel on 37/38s, I could get close to 16" of wheel travel up front based off my measurements and how far I could get the fender flares moved up. Plan was to use a limit strap at the swaybar since I don't run one for peace of mind and use the internal bump valving on the ORIs as a bump. Seeing yours makes me want do it again!

You and I think a lot alike. Yeah I had to wait nearly 4 months after I paid for the front set and I made a deal that I would purchase the rear set once they were available to ship and that seemed to work good both with my budget and the long wait time. Yeah 16 in front wheel travel will be possible with a little more trimming on the fenders, and I'm also running BRaptor ucas and lca's moved inward 1 in to narrow the track to match my rear Dana 60 +2"

How do they perform at higher speed? My understanding was they were not as robust but good for crawlers. Any idea on rebuild cost / interval?

Nice work! Fun to see what you come up with.

They work fantastic at both high and low speeds. Now that I have the fronts installed, and dialed in perfect, I can tell I need to adjust the Rears a little more. the rear travel/articulation is AMAZING. need to do a bit more trimming to utilize ALL the available flex.

Dang! That’s awesome! How much more cutting do you think is necessary?

so far just the rear needed additional trimming near the rear body mount. I removed ±1" and could improve more by another 1" trim.
