I drive my Bronco "slow"- mainly the speed limits or a little over. I also accelerate slowly. Reason- it's designed to be an on/off road vehicle, not meant for speed or super good handling on the pavement. It's top speed is only 100, which is not that fast. And to save gas- and I get pretty good MPG driving the way I do. People around here drive 80- 110 on the interstate. I stay with the trucks at 70, the speed limit. I have a Miata track car that I drive fast and it gets up to and over 100 real fast.

Something must be wrong with my Bronco 2.7 eco, It doesn't like to do interstates under 85 mph.

I’m getting 20.5 mpg at the speed limit. That’s it.

This 2002ish Mustang GT owner found out that not all Broncos are "slow" as it took him getting into 4th gear to even put a car length on me...

You haven't met me, I'm a Speed Devil for the most part. I feel Wranglers are just as bad as hybrid drivers though, they're never in a rush, even when they should be

I'm generally driving a bit slower in my '24 Wildtrak than I was in my '17 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk partly because I love driving the damn thing so much I'm not in any particular hurry to get where I'm going and have to get out. And there's the fact that with the 2.7 I have to hold myself back from mashing the loud pedal to the floor to feel that thing rip. I see lots of people are blathering on about how SLOW even a Raptor is, and the only thing I can thing is...these dudes must be hung like a Chipmunk! 325hp & 400lb/ft of torque on my Wildtrak is SLOW??? This thing is faster than my Brides '21 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk w/5.7 HEMI! The 5.7 is quicker out of the hole, but once the turbos are spooled up...GIDDYUP!!!
But, most of the time I'm just poking along with a smile so wide I may swallow my ears!

So, someone else who, like me, thinks the 2.7L is pretty damn fast!

The joy of driving isn't in the speed, it's in finding a perfect line and being at harmony with the physics.

Making love to my Bronco sometimes can be very slow - and sometimes it can be very fast. But either way it always ends with a big smile on my face (and hopefully it was as good for my Bronco as it was for me).

Going slow allows for accuracy when the protesters are blocking the road 🤣
I'm going to be angry at that, because I'm a protester, married to one, and the whole family protests. But you're not wrong. ;)

I took off my front sway bar and that has slowed me down even more on road.

Much more ... spirited ... to drive though.

Pretty simple for me, noise goes up and mileage goes down very quickly after about 60.
