I'm not advocating for increased rates, but I was kinda thinking the same thing. In traffic, you have all sorts of variables that cause collisions, but in this one, the only variable is the nose of a Tesla protruding into your driveway, which is easily avoidable, especially in a Bronco.

Are you talking about bass roll off? At what volume setting does that happen?

If you look at the following picture (another members picture), the kick panel harness is wired to the amp terminal on the crossover, which is what I've been getting at.

Yes, a crossover that comes with a component set. There are terminals to connect the tweeter and the woofer, but there is also a terminal that says amp, so that was my question. Since the speakers will no longer be connected to the dash harness and kick panel harness, am connecting the kick...

Currently have a Key 200.4 with harness, and thinking about switching to components in the dash, and need some assistance understanding how to connect power to the crossover. Am I correct in assuming that I would be connecting the Kick Panel harness to the power / amp terminals on the cross...

By the way, how are people sealing the port? Would duct tape be effective?

I have a Kicker KS there, but it's really not adding much to the front stage, which is why I decided to switch to a woofer to add some bass up front.
