Leave the house early, enjoy the drive, etc. If I wanted a sports car, I'd drive one. I typically drive between 70-80mph depending on whatever I feel like. Maybe riding dirty.
I'm in the right lane. Leave me alone.

Fuel economy, I live in SoCal and came from a Tacoma and drove it in the fast lane all the time, lost maybe one MPG, the Bronco's MPG drops quickly the faster you go, it's a brick. Above 72ish it starts to drop fast. I'm always deciding on if I want to go 80 and get 14.6 MPG or so or go slower and get higher mileage.

On the trip to Moab, 80MPH posted speed limit in Utah, do I want to spend another 2 hours to drive 800 miles? Or, another tank of gas to save two hours on a 10 hours drive v. 12 hours AND then get stuck in Sunday afternoon traffic coming home from Las Vegas? Which could add another 2 hours, worst if there's an accident... and there's always an accident.

I chose to spend more and get home earlier.

I recently drove for the weekend to the Bay Area, and the fuel savings paid for a rental car. The rental car, a Camry, got almost twice the MPG at 85+ MPG and I put almost a thousand miles on the rental.
I thought I might be the only one getting 14.6 😓

Because the 2.7L stock 4-door tops off at 101mph (in TX).

Because the Bronco isn't a sports car, if I wanted to drive zoom zoom I would have bought a Porsche or a Corvette...plus the fact I'm an old fart.

Because I would rather drive 5 to 10 over the limit and enjoy the ride. It's not always the destination it is sometimes the drive that matters. Logically speaking also driving way over the limit is just plain stupid. What do you save? 5 or 10 minutes on a long drive?

A bit of irony that a "speed devil", posting about blinding folks with headlights and how everyone needs to "get out my way" is ranting about how others need to be taught how to drive.
Im talking the left lane hoggers who cruise at 70 or slower

Im sure wherever youre from Zack, they got their own rules.

I dont waste time honking after I pass, wont flip you off, I just pass you if at all possible and thats it, end of story.

One word:

Autobahn.

Americans drivers training is almost nonexistence compared to Europe's.

Is the Autobahn safer than US highways?

SCHMITZ: According to road accident statistics from last year, 34 people per million Germans died in car accidents, but only 5% of those accidents occurred on the autobahn. Germany's fatal car accident rate is among the lowest in Europe and is more than three times as low as the rate in the United States
