Hello, community,

I was wondering if someone has a similar experience. I bought a new Bronco Big Bend, and I've been driving 700 miles so far. There's a low noise, but it's noticeable to me. I heard a similar noise when I had issues with my last Toyota Highlander, which was known for transmission problems. (It's not as loud, but it's the same sound.) So, the noise isn't very loud, and I was wondering if that is normal for this off-road vehicles. It's my first time with one of these. The whining noise isn't always there, but most of the time it is. It occurs between 1st and 2nd gear, and 2nd to 3rd, at no more than 25 mph, then it stops. I've tried different modes just in case, but the noise still persists. I'm sure it's not the turbo or the engine. To me, it sounds like a transmission problem or related component.

I've read that some Ford transmissions have a particular noise, and when you take it to the dealer for inspection, they say that's normal. In other cases, they mention it might be the torque converter.

So, does anyone have experience that might guide me on what I should do?

Thanks, pals.

Make sure you do not have your front lockers engaged.

For me, I was getting a faint howl in the 35 to 55 mph range for the first 1,000 miles.
It faded away over the next 500 miles until it was gone completely.
I believe it was the tires "breaking in".
I'm now over 18,000 miles and my Bronco is still with zero issues of any kind.

Mine has this as well at lower speeds. I assume it's a Ford ownership perk.
