Has anyone developed a whine at highway speeds when you let off the throttle, Only does it 50 mph or above, As soon as you touch the gas pedal
again it stops, Sounds like its coming from right under your feet. 2.7 with 10 speed.

Maybe just the reverse load on the gears making it make that noise? I'm not sure exactly how it's implemented in our broncos, but on most vehicles, over a certain speed, the torque converter stays in a more locked up position when you let off the gas, so it would make sense.

Hi there, I'd be happy to look into your Bronco's whine issue on my end. Will you send us a message with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into things on my end.

Possibly sounds like the coast side gear engagement in the rear diff due to improper diff setup. I would have it checked out.

Did anything come of this? I have noticed I have a whine between 15-25 miles an hour, accelerating or decelerating. Normal and sports mode. The only thing I’ve changed recently is I put a cat back exhaust on but wouldn’t consider it a drone, definitely a whine.

Could you look into why my bronco still sitting on the ramp for almost 2 weeks built and no holds. my F150 that I’ve owned since new has broken down with a bad O ring around the oil pump that’s a known issue per Ford service bulletins.
I need a vehicle to go to work so I can pay my bills, hence ordering the bronco 900 days ago to getting in front of the tired f150.
but Ford motor company is not cooperating nor communicating.
but I guess that’s par for the course when you’re ordering a vehicle from Ford Motor Company.
I know I don’t matter to Ford or the executive's
It’s obvious with the communication at corporate and the dealership…

Yep. Typically pinion pre-load problem when it whines after lifting off….

I just purchased a new 2023 Badlands SAS last Thursday. Noticed the same noise when letting off the throttle - most noticeable around 35mph. Took it in yesterday and they’re replacing pinion parts today. Less than 500 miles. Fingers crossed they fix it right and replace all the necessary parts so I can enjoy my beauty.

Had my doors off yesterday and coming down the mountain I was hearing this when letting off the throttle, goes away with throttle. Definately coming from front end so doesn't seem to be rear diff or a u-joint going bad. Monitoring myself for now, kind of sick of going to the dealer.
