The power was routed from the glove box area through the center console area to a plug in the firewall. If you look too left in the driver's side you'll see the knock out grommet to the firewall. I cut a small hole through the knock out grommet using a razor knife.Yep. That's the ground. I'm curious where/how you have (or are going to) routed the power feed to the terminal in the engine compartment.
I just got the current kit from PlugNPlay and will be installing it soon.
In the first picture he's got the mountains 2 metal glove box bracket. I have the same one, but using it for a gmrs radioThanks. Also curious about how you finish mounted the amp on the passenger side.
Gotcha. I didn't see the bracket on the floorboard. In the first picture he's got the mountains 2 metal glove box bracket. I have the same one, but using it for a gmrs radio
I couldn't use that big grommet - that's where my clutch passes through the firewallA couple tips
I realized I could have routed the wires through the center console and between an ac duct instead of under the glove box (photo with my hand)
It helped to route my amp wires over the black bracket in the glove box.
when you're putting the amp in to the slot, lay on your back and push one side up through first
Really, a clean install if you do it right .
