Not sure I understand. Offset number isn't relative between vehicles and only relevant to calculating aftermarket wheels. Ford could have put a +100 on it and as long as the engineering allows for suspension and brake clearance and lines up with the body, it's irrelevant. -55 offset is a pretty good sweet spot for steering neutrality and bearing life. Ford is also bound by regs to not have tires poke out past fenders. Hence the ugly Sasquatch abominations.

To be accurate, its not -55, its +55.

Be careful with that. A very large percentage of aftermarket wheels are made in China. Ask before you buy.
Oh I know, I always check with everything I buy. But that's good to point out, we probably ought to get a list going of wheel manufacturers. Where they're made, how they're made (forged, cast), cost, and reviews.

I was looking at putting Toyo AT/III's in 35X11.50R17 on these wheels (just a hair wider than 285s). Looks like I would be fine width wise clearing the arms. Probably will need a 1" or 2" lift to fully clear for diameter.
I was looking at this too but one thing of note is if you order a non squatch Bronco, it will have the crash bars in the front wheel wells and a 35 or 315 will very likely hit those when turning the wheel (even though width-wise with an 11.5 wide yo should be fine) so you’ll have to cut them or remove them As the 35” height would be the issue. Ordering squatch means the Bronco comes with much shorter crash bars to accommodate the 315 tire.

In the below pic is the squatch chassis and I circled the shorter crash bars. These ARE like 6-8” longer on non squatch Broncos. See 2nd pic for non squatch.

Crash bars don't come out in front of the tire. They stop about 1 1/2" before the inner plane of the wheel. And from what I saw, easily

Hmmm, I assumed that the pic of the Sasquatch frame just doesn't have the extensions bolted on. Without the extensions, they are pretty much useless.

Is that true for the rear crash bar as well? It looks like it would come out past the inner plane of the tire, unless it was removed

That picture is the rear crash bar for the passenger side front tire.
I couldn't get an angle to get the distance between the wheel's inner plane and the bar.
Best I could get is this

Thats a Badlands with the 285s right? Man thats gotta be cutting it close for a 315 when turned. Im thinking maybe Ford made them removable for the squatches and they will come without those extensions?

Those crash bars look like they might help peel off the red clay we have here in flyover country

I need to know if this is a fact. Might mean I should just go 35s from factory to not have to worry about modding those crash bars aftermarket.

This means a lot more people will be opting for the Sasquatch package.

cost of 5 35" tires, cost of 5 new rims, mods to truck to make them fit = Sasquatch is still the cheapest way to get to 35's

I think its just a couple bolts on each to remove them.
