I just bought a wild track and there’s this random cord running across the dashboard. Can anybody tell me what it’s for???? the people at the dealership didn’t even know……

Did you purchase this vehicle used? Looks like an Ethernet cord.... I have one on my under dash GRMS radio that attaches to my microphone for said radio... but the extension would be a female end.

Trace the line. Where does it attach at the other end? You can pull out the glove box easily with the two push tabs on either side. Get up there and look.

That makes sense. The original owner installed it, probably for a radar detector. Many people like to hardwire them versus having to use the cigarette lighter adaptor.
