Found a nice '66 to take pictures with. We both had Mountain bike racks and bikes on the hitches.

Frame "clean up".
Had a few significant burrs from crawling, esp down a harder line at Chiva Falls near Tucson. Not this picture, but the harder down line on this same hill.
So got to work with the angle grinder, wire disc and some etching primer just to eliminate work hazards. I guess the right rear lower control arm was mostly cosmetic and rust prevention. Now awaiting my Eastwood black chassis rattle can.
Using it as designed!

FMI front leveling collars and full drivetrain fluids changed.
Almost right at 1.0" inches of front lift.
At 7k mi rear diff was the dirtiest fluid among all of them. Also did fluids back at 1k.

Oh shit - that’s pretty nasty gear oil for only 6k miles…FMI front leveling collars and full drivetrain fluids changed.

Rear diff was the dirtiest fluid here at 7k mi. Also did fluids back at 1k.
I will plan to change mine when I reach 3k (projected June)

Here is the last bits draining out. Looks pretty good and clear to me. I've seen way worse amounts on the plugs of other Broncos with lower mileage. I think I will extend to next change at 20k.
Installed new Hammer Built tailgate support so I have an accessory mount. Just fits with true 37s. Ford did a crap job on the safety strap to the hinge which is hidden by the OEM cover

I painted and finally reassembled my dash.
And painted/reassembled my "bash plate"
Funny story, when I was taking off my bash plate I realized the farthest back two bolts that hold on the engine skid plate were literally just started in the holes.
I took them out by hand. Guess it was a good thing I decided to paint it.

How fitting! Like it was made for your rig…I used 2k raptor liner in a spray can with a matte clear. Turned out pretty good.
