Had my Bronco into the dealer about a year ago to replace the washer pump.

Now, with no signs of leaking washer fluid under the vehicle, the fluid keeps “disappearing” and I get a ”LOW WASHER FLUID ALARM.”

One of you Ford Service Managers posted the procedure to access the washer fluid reservoir. Can you please repost? Perhaps if it is just something simple I can do it myself.

Stopped at my local dealer yesterday to schedule this repair UNDER THE WARRANTY. The Service Advisor indicated the “Trim Guy” was booked “a week out”. He told me that the vehicle must therefore sit at the Dealer for a week (to hold my place in line…) before it can even be looked at!!!!!!! Bullshit, I’ll just pay my mechanic to fix it…. A sad state of affairs…..

@Ducati1098

I really appreciate you posting. I’m curious as to why every step is a “1.”. No Step 2.’s???

Nice computer generated illustrations. I finally recognized the rear view mirror and realized the “depiction was ”looking” up under the fender from below…. Is the fender liner hard to get off?

For some reason when I copy it out of the workshop manual, it turns everything into a step 1. Not entirely sure why. I attached a PDF of the instructions which should have the correct format.

The fender liner is very easy to remove, just a bunch of plastic push pins and a few small screws.

had windshield replaced? mine did that and they left something undone. as for the dealer experience thats pretty much the norm these days due to lack of parts and technicians.

@Ducati1098 - I'd like to add a thank you onto this thread for providing the images and instructions.

I thought I had just one mouse chewed hole and I cut it out and put a split in, then I saw one more, then another, I replaced that whole section of the washer fluid hose, then I finally saw the pattern of a chewed hole about every inch going down into the void... 😂

I'm just hoping I don't have to take the wheel off to comfortably access it.

No problem. I think you might be able to pull the flare off real quick, then just pull down the top of the fender splash shield for access.

I don't know what it in today's plastics, but not only to mice and other vermin go for it, but it drives my cat crazy. Even the UPS shipping label containers have to be locked up...
