Vin says Badlands

I have a 2022 2 door Base Sasquatch.
When i went to renew my tag. I noticed the vin was coming back to a Badlands Limited.
It has the grey Sasquatch plack on it.
Just wondering if this has happen to anyone else.

Badlands is a platform. Sasquatch is options I believe.

Two dumb things going on here:

1) Ford for having multiple Bronco MODELS and trims; and,

2) State DMVs for not being able to fit that into the old "make/model" framework.

You better get that corrected (or minimally clarified) so that it doesn't leave you without coverage when you need it most. That's obviously not just a different trim...

Had a similar thought and asked back in 2022. They said since the VIN is accurate I'd be fine, but definitely a good reminder!

I have a base model that was just in the shop for a minor fender bender and it's vin came back as a badlands. At first I thought it was odd but I didn't dwell on it...

I believe you'd have an actionable offense if it did.

My insurance says badlands also, even though I have a WT. I don't really think it makes a difference as long as the VIN is correct.
