Interesting...I picked up a free F- 150 folding hard bed cover, I need to do similar trimming and gluing.
Thanks for posting.
Trace the bed first, it is oblong down the sides.

I would put some foam sound deadener on the bottom to help with heat. My metal truck bed cover was a solar oven compared to my other plastic tri-fold.
I nase a bunch of kilmat I plan to put on the bottom to help with rattles and such. I also want to find some felt to attach to that. I looked at it and thought "scorcher".

the pictures showing the sides definitely shows the narrowing of the body.

that looks sharp!! have you come up with an idea to seal the gap for the rear of the roll bar? some sort of rubber flap seal?

I am less concerned about the roll bar than the rear gate. The way it bows compared to the straight cover is considerable. If I were starting again, I would curve to the gate first. Then make my size cuts after.

I think it will be fine as this company provided some very heavy rubberized packaging that is still and thick. I plan on making an inner lower lip.

As to your question I plan to clean up the edges with rubber seals or use some 1/2 J channel. I will be to the final touches probably next week.

I also meant the rear gap to but after re-reading what I wrote, I guess I missed that point. LOL

I am looking forward to seeing the finished product. I am interested for sure because I would like something like that for when its "Summer" up here in ND and I can run with the top off and keep stuff kind of out of the thunderstorm and nosy eyes.

Awesome!

I managed to pick up a similar one on clearance probably a year ago, it still sits in the garage. Meanwhile I go back and forth on how I might deal with the rollbar/tailgate area. With hopes I figure out a windjammer/halfcab situation.

The CJ7 windjammer should work, I will build a bar for it of the cage. The CJ7 Bikini top will definitely work, had to order the front channel as it is not with it.

I will most likely attach the bikini to the bed cover. I can't see running one without the other.
