A lot of variables I know, but it might be easier to just say I'll take a check from Ford. This way I know I there shouldn't be any games played. Ugh.
Unfortunately it's apparently not as easy as that. Apparently the money goes to the dealer and they cut you the check... Still plenty of room for games.

Question: I ordered a 4 dr. Badlands on 3/19/21. I then switched to Everglades on 3/8/2022. This puts me in Group A with $0 price protection, right? Why does Group B get money back on Everglades and not Group A? Curious.

Unknown. Rumor is that it'll be Q1 2023, but Ford hasn't said officially either way.

It probably depends on how many reservation holders order/reorder before the Nov 21st deadline.
This is not great news if true. And it would basically confirm that FORD has no intention in moving away from its allocation voodoo math and clearing the initial reservations. Price protections will be moot. They will tell me I will pay 2020 prices in 2030 when I finally get my number called.

Not for '23. The PP amount will be in Smart Vincent and get applied at the time of sale. If there is a mid year increase though, that would probably be like you are saying. Same as with '22 only the amount is higher due to the increases all rolled into one.

So I asked my dealer to confirm what my private offer is. They are dragging their feet. They also dragged their feet on telling my ‘22 price protection which turned out not to be necessary. They are telling me they won’t have the private offer until my vehicle is being built. Is anyone else running into this? Shouldn’t they be able to tell me my value right now?
At this moment, there is no private offer for MY'23 to verify. The actual certificates won't be loaded into Smart VINCENT until after 11/21/22. What they can do, now, is the same as you can do and that is to reference the Ford communication that is outlined in this thread.

you’re in group A with the price protection of a 4dr badlands since that’s what was your order/reservation as of 3/19. That Applies to your current order. Group a has $0 for Everglades because you couldn’t order one in before 3/19/21

Do not wait for the dealer to cut you a check. Demand the rebate at the time of the sale. Keep the Ford Bronco Customer Service Number with you. If the dealer balks then just tell them you'll call Ford and put them on speaker. Try not to smirk with this play.

They are feeding me a story that they won't know until my Bronco is built. If they just would be up front . . .

If this chart is true then I'm good with it. Now they just have to build the damn thing! 🤬

If true that would be nice. We'll see when they start shipping I guess.

That's fine but the MSRP of the '23 Everglades is $895 more than the '22 Everglades, I believe. Should I be prepared for '23 MSRP? This is okay, too - I guess. I'm just trying to set my expectations :)

And to add to @brettly post, @friethmiller you will apply the pp for your 4-dr Badlands to the price of the Everglades.

You'll actually come out ahead as last year's MY'22 PP indicated that there was no pp for a MY'22 Everglades. For MY'23, the Everglades is eligible and you can apply the private offer towards any MY'23 Bronco except the Raptor or Limited Heritage Edition.

The MY'22 PP will expire. They won't be extended and are only relevant to a MY'22 Bronco. New private offers that are referenced in this thread will be for MY'23 Broncos. If you have a single order, there will be a short time where 2 private offers exist in Smart VINCENT under your name. Each one will be different amounts and can only be applied to specific MY Broncos.
Yes, Ford customer service said I had two. I guess they will combine both amounts when the 22 voucher expires on 1/3/23 and re-issue a single certificate for both amounts

Ah, ok. That makes sense now. Appreciate the help on this.
