$8 bucks at Harbor Freight.
Pump oil/gas from your vehicle and inflate equipment with the same transfer pump.

I just did a tranny service on mine and used this $8 pump to get 6.3 qts out of my pan before dropping the pan. Worked great. I just fed the hose into the fill hole as far as possible and sucked it out.

The Ford tool and the Motive container in this picture when I did the pan swap last September. I greatly appreciated the ability to hang the tool on the transmission with no worries of it falling out while using the pressurized tank to release the new fluid into the transmission. Worked perfectly, no problems. Agree the tool is obnoxiously expensive for what it is though, but not sure anything else that isn't a full "U" end would hang on the transmission as well hands free? I didn't have a lot of confidence in the end pieces that came with the Motive container like I did with the actual Ford tool. I didn't try them.

DIY lesson I learned a long time ago to save your garage floors. Buy a cheap washing machine pan from the store. Has saved many garage floors for me over the last 20+ years.

Do you have the Ford special tube with it or just the one that came with this?
I'm getting ready to do a pan swap & refill & want to make sure I'm set up to be able to do regular trans fluid changes moving forward...
Just the hook end that comes with it works perfect

@jtgensler that powerfill tool only adds fluid though, it wont remove it. Just making sure you know that.

yeah. I'm swapping the pan out to the PPE one, so I'll have a drain plug moving forward & I'll probably just use a tote when I remove the OEM pan to try to contain the mess.
