Yep, the early Tera 4low kits for the 231's had 3k RPM limit & a couple guys in our club found that the planetary gears would let loose. Most of us made the jump to Atlas when that started to surface.Getting away from planetary gear sets also let's you spin the assembly faster. Lot of early planetary reduction boxes had issues with burning up.
Really need someone to build a doubler so we can figure what is the limiting factor in the current transfer case.
Does anyone know the output shaft spline count for the 2 available Transmissions?
Unfortunately, most doublers are going to be planetary gear systems. I would rather go to a 4.3 or possibly a 5.0 Atlas and use the transmission gears.
