Put this is general as it crosses over between wheel, tires and suspension. Not one or the other section.
22 Badlands non SAS on 33’s. 14k miles. Florida has no extreme off roading. I don’t care to wheel in mud. But do some trails/beach.
I want just a slightly different look. Once rear shocks are replaced I plan to sell the OEM and put on the 5100’s most likely.
Going for a 1inch lift since keeping 33’s for now. And new take offs are cheap when I need new ones. Although 35’s may happen if the itch hits. I would rather spend the money on rims with about 1in less +offset than non SAS rims than 35’s. Making tread edge even with fenders matching the 1 inch lift. Lift only would look odd on smaller tires in my opinion. Thoughts? Anyone do it?

My only thought is that a 1" lift on non-sas seems like a lot of effort for not a lot of results. Just my two cents.

I’m thinking any higher on 33’s would look strange. And the 1inch lift with 1 inch wider stance would look like something is different but not obvious.

1" less positive offset from non-squatch puts you pretty much at squatch offset...non-sqautch +55 minus 1" (25.4mm) = +29.6mm. Many have swapped over to the squatch wheels to acheive this or add a 1" spacer to your non-sqaucth wheels. Not a lot of other positive offset options available...+18 & +12 seem to be most common.

Is it a 2 or 4 door? If we are talking strictly looks, I think 33s are perfect on a 2 door but 4 doors look better on 35s.

33s (295/70r17) 17x9 -6 offset non sas suspension. Its a perfect setup for every day driving. I have pro comp coilovers waiting to go on and gonna need tires soon. At that poing Im going bigger.

I don’t want it to look like just another. Bronco. And not that I dislike Method wheels. Prob don’t want those either as they are too common.

4 door. The set up proposed would allow for 35’s of I decide to spring for them.

I’m also not keen on removing crash bars. No idea why Ford didn’t design the Bronco to maintain them with 35’s, which obviously they offer as standard.
