  1. We love Broncos but… what’s the most annoying “small issue” with your Bronco?

The models without blindspot monitoring have them.
  2. We love Broncos but… what’s the most annoying “small issue” with your Bronco?

The location of the window buttons took some getting used to. Not really an issue except when I occasionally hit the electronic parking brake in my wife’s BMW when I am trying to roll up the window. It’s a big surprise when you are at highway speed. šŸ˜€
  3. 2022 2 DR Base manual reliability

2023 Base 2 door manual here with around 30K miles, daily driven. I had the transmission rattle but dealer fixed it under warranty. I really enjoy the manual.
  4. Dealer painted Fender before purchase

If it were me, I’d just forget the script logo and replace the original type and move on. Life is too short.
  5. Transfer case failure.

It is definitely not that fragile; there must be some kind of defect in yours. I have a friend with a base model that might have accidentally engaged 4H when he meant to put it in sport mode on dry roads and didn’t realize it until the tires chirped in a parking lot. I, I mean he has also played...
  6. What’s the ONE piece of advice you’d give to a new Bronco owner?

If you plan to offroad and are new to offroading, join a club, make friends, get some training, or otherwise learn some technique. Don’t be the person that locks everything, points it in the general direction, steps on the gas, breaks your Bronco and then makes a Youtube video about how the...
  7. Opinion on Badlands and a Black Diamond?

In my opinion, the choice would come down to the degree of off roading that you want to do. Easier trails - Black Diamond. A lot of rocks, ledges, mud - Badlands. I drive a base, 2 door manual that I put on better tires, which is basically a BD minus rubber floor, vinyl, locking rear dif, and...
  8. What’s great about owning a Bronco?

I’ve always liked the concept of a jeep: removable top and doors combined with off road capability. However, the vast majority of my driving is done on road and I hate the way jeeps drive. I drove a Bronco and was sold; let’s face it, it’s basically a jeep that handles well on the road. Combine...
  9. Missed downshift = Scary situation in traffic 7MT

I wouldn't say you have shit shifting ability but you have some bad habits. Coasting in neutral to a stop, especially in weather, is not the way. If you were in the right gear for your speed, you wouldn't have needed to shift when the light turned green. Your second bad habit is blaming a car...
  10. Missed downshift = Scary situation in traffic 7MT

Once you get used to it, the Bronco is one of the easiest to drive manuals ever. However, it doesn’t like the shifts to be rushed. You won’t be missing shifts after a while. I even like to throw in some heal/toe (actually side of foot for me) for fun.

  12. floor jack recommendations

  13. Tires aren't as heinous as I thought they'd be...

I kept mine in case I want to go back but I think 33s are perfect. They also work great for mild off road.
  14. Sunrider Soft Top

I’m in the Northeast and if its above 50 degrees and not raining, mine’s open. It’s way easier than messing with the panels; opens/closes in seconds. For me, a major part of the experience of driving a Bronco is the open top.
  15. Talk Me Off The Ledge.... 😲

He wanted a Bronco not an Explorer.
  16. Talk Me Off The Ledge.... 😲

Do it. Base is the way. My only suggestion for your use case is to consider dropping sasquatch and go aftermarket wheels and 33s. In my opinion, looks perfect on 2 door.
  17. This Turns Your Bronco into a Full-Blown Overland Rig in 15 Minutes!

I understand; that was just a friendly jab at the overlanding folks. Thanks for the response though.
