I’m trying to install a lift kit but is bottom strut bolt is stuck. I’m lifting the car on the axle. Should I be lifting it on the frame on the side instead? Or is there another way to get it out? Thanks in advance!

Frame.
You may have to also lift slightly on the axle after lifted by the frame to relieve tension.

What are you removing it with? I believe that one is around 350 Ft-lbs.

Ah gotcha. Yeah you need to support the Bronco by the frame. And use your jack under the axle to work the bolt loose. If your jack stands are not very tall then remove both rear wheels to lower the axle further.

You need to take the weight off it. Start over again. If you have only one jack, put the tire back on and remove the jack under the axle. Move the jack to the side and lift on the frame until tire comes off the floor. Remove tire. Insert a jack stand under the frame and lower most, but not all, of the weight onto the jack stand. Leave the jack in place. Now vehicle is properly supported. If you have the nut off, turn the nut back on until it’s flush w/ end of threads on the bolt. Now drive the bolt out w/ a dead blow hammer. It should be relatively easy to get it out.

This advice assumes you haven’t removed the other rear tire. Be very careful. Never get under a vehicle supported only with a jack. If you don’t have any jackstands, save your project until you do.

According to my wife, I often have a problem getting my bolt out once I got the nut off.

Whatever you do, never mention this problem around the other guys.
And definitely don't talk about it on the internet.. 😂
