Was trying to put the IAG mud flaps on and two of my fender liner clips are stripped and I can’t get them out. Any suggestions for getting these out? Can they just be pried out if they’re entirely plastic ? Can I just cut the heads off ?

Just get a sharp small screwdriver or 2 or knife under the screw part (the center) and pull it out. The threads are not very good because those are designed to push in and screw out and unless you put very light pressure on them, they won’t screw out.

They are designed for speed. They are not screwed in at the factory they’re pushed in.

Consider an assortment of clips and plugs, available on Amazon and auto parts stores.Notice this comes with pry tools, very sufficient for the home-garage handman, Something in this box is sure to fit. When I pull one out, I use something new.

Heat up the tip of a small flat blade screwdriver and melt it into the stripped mess. Viola, better than the original.

Use a pair of pliers and just yank it out without worrying about the threads, then replace with a new one.

I installed the IAG mudflaps on my '22 BD. The inner fastener is the one that is a real pain. I made some 3D printed 'hooks' that slide into the crash bars (which I think I see in your picture) that eliminates the need to mess with the fender clip shown just above and to the left of your crash bar. If you have the ability to 3D print, I'd be happy to send you the file. I printed these in white because it was the material I had on hand then painted it black. The

Yep, that is common for me too. I just use a small pry bar and they will pop out.

I've had more than a few of these that I've had to just cut off. I bought a replacement pack from Amazon and they work better as replacements.

+1 for buying this. Whenever I have to get behind that liner I just pull 'em out with a pair of needlenose and trash them and put in new ones.
