Saw 2 of these failure on Facebook. Anyone here got that issue? When reserving a Badlands I wondered about the reliability of the sta bar. Sad to see multiple people already having issues with it.

I think it was a sensor issue but could be wrong

Somebody PLEASE come out with an easily workable sway bar disconnect so I can change my order from a Badlands back to a BaseSquatch. :giggle:

At Vegas Off-Roadeo last week a Badlands had a non operational disconnect. Still did the trails.

A wrench and a socket are pretty easy.
Yeah, but I want something fancy. :ROFLMAO:

If it's not easier, the temptation will be to not disconnect them. Or remove the sway bar altogether for trips. Trying not to have to lay on my back in the dirt at the beginning and end of any trail.

Wonder if there's an easy way to tell if the bar is actually disconnected or it's just a sensor. Because if it's still connected then it should be safe to drive.
Easy way to tell is to haul ass around a corner!!!

My First Edition is at the dealer today after I got the Sta-Bar service immediately message Sunday night. Haven't heard anything yet. The service guy said he's seen 4 of them with this problem. 2 were fixed (So far) resetting the Chassis Control Module and 2 had to have new control modules ordered/installed.

Seriously with the electrical (and all other) issues. I realize this is first model year but this rig is supposed to handle the worst possible off-road conditions so it's getting pathetic. Test drove a Badlands stick and the parking brake light would not turn off...despite setting and releasing the brake 10x, turning the vehicle on/off 3x, and pointing out to two different salesman. Final conclusion was "Oh well, take it out anyway and we'll look at it later." Not sure if they did but it sold a few days later @ $10K over MSRP.
that happened to me at Bronco offrodeo, just drive a couple feet and the brakes will release

Light never went off for the entire 20-min test drive. Was still on when I gave the keys back.

I understand the concept, but basically your statement was akin to boasting that your condoms cost less because they are smaller.
No dog in this hunt but this is top 5 funniest comment on any forum I’ve been on. Cheers to you both.
