I haven’t received an OTA in years. I’ve tried everything to get it to. I tried a few things today, did a master reset in sync and now my pass app is disconnected from the vehicle and won’t reconnect. My connectivity toggle is turned off and won’t turn back on in settings. Auto update has been grayed out for a few years now. I do have the pro cal tune.

Oh, that sounds like a completely different issue. Message me the VIN and I'll poke around to see if I see anything helpful. Many job 1 2021 Ford vehicles had an issue that got them stuck and unable to turn on auto updates. I would not have done the master reset if the Ford app was working for that same reason, but too late now.

Haha, my Sync has been unable to install the "audio optimizations" for a few weeks.
I'll probably factory reset the head unit and see if that does the trick.

Well I suppose I will chime in. I have not received any updates in well over a year. Ford tech support shows nothing updated in at least 180 days (evitdently, that's as far back as they can see). Last attempt was the PCM update from a while back. I figured it failed due to the Procal tune being installed. Yup, I have the ProCal tune.

I tried working with Ford tech support to reset modems, etc to try and get OTA updates going again, but no joy.

I recently moved to Utah and my navigation is so out of date, it doesn't even know my house is on a road. So, I need some updates. I have a service appointment scheduled for tomorrow to apply the various outstanding recalls (2 of them currently) as well as any additional updates. I have done the following in preparation...

Updated the Procal software with the "mothership". I do not think this has produced an updated tune file. Connected to the Bronco and reverted back to stock. All of this went fine. I expect the dealership will apply a bunch of updates, and then I will reload the Procal tune afterwards.

Anything I am missing here??

Correct.....the OTA dashboard goes back 180 days max. The OTA process is very unpredictable and unreliable. Not getting an update sent in 6 months or more does not necessarily mean there is something wrong with your truck. That's just the way it is sometimes; even if there are modules with pending updates.

I opened up a case with Ford in regards to this issue with the Procal. If you had a PCM OTA fail and it still shows in your OTA dashboard, message me the VIN so I can send it to them. @akturbo yours, too, please.

Quick update on me. I received the Software Update 12 - Connectivity TCU-26.2.11.3 update yesterday, and today, back to the PCM-23.11.02 Not Completed error. So I am still getting regular updates, just failing on the PCM update, which looks to be preferred for those with the ProCal Performance Tune installed.

Fortunately, the PCM is not a module that creates a bottleneck effect preventing other updates if it does not install.

Wow, that PCM update is old. November of 2023. The one that failed on mine is 25.10.0.
