Has anyone participated in SCCA RallyCross in their Bronco?

I am thinking of doing this next year with my Bronco, it meets the requirements to be eligible.

take a late model corvette instead.
it's more of a challenge for the non-hardtop portions
with limited ground clearance

Broncos are SO top heavy... one good rut grab and you're top side down.

Spend 3k on a dodge neon.
Hmm. I was curious about that. I'm on 33s with the 2" FP lift, so nothing crazy. I also have rear sway and Antirock front sway.

I might just need to test it out first and see how it goes.

I had a Fiesta ST Rallycross car, so I am familiar.

I did a lot of research and almost grabbed a neon back in 2012 to run it up in Michigan. Things fell apart for me in a few ways and so it got sidelined but you just lit a spark I forgot was in me. Time to go find a neon

I mean… if you’re within their spec then go for it. You’ll be dead last and may flip but it will be a blast! I’m blessed to have a OHV park near me with a rally cross style track and a mild jump. $5 entry fee too. It’s where I do a lot of my videos and testing. Bronco isn’t fast around the track buts it’s a darn blast!

The big reason you should not consider this is that all automobile insurance policies carry a racing exclusion thus eliminating any and all coverage for the vehicle should an accident occur while rallying (or practicing).

I ended up not doing it, because I now have a RTT.

But I do absolutely bomb down dirt and gravel roads all of the time.
