I installed factory sas takeoff Billsteins on my standard Big Bend this past weekend and now I need to get an alignment done… the issue is I’m not sure which model specs to use for said alignment.
I have the standard factory Badlands wheels (non beadlock) with 33” KO2s installed, so my initial thought was to go with the standard Badlands alignment spec, but that doesn’t account for the extra height of the sas version Bilsteins that I have since non sas badlands shocks have the shorter bump stops (.4” lower overall).
Then I figured maybe the sas package settings make more sense since those r the shocks I have (even though I’m only running 33s and not the 35s).
THEN I realized that the Wildtraks from 2022 and prior which also used to have the same sas style Bilsteins also have their own specs which actually match the non sas trims other than badlands - this detail makes me wonder if the sway bar disconnect/front locker on badlands & sas package affect the alignment specs. If that is the case, maybe Wildtrak specs below are actually most correct for me since I have the Bilsteins but no front locker/sway bar disconnect on my Big Bend.
I’m not an alignment guru and just want to make sure this gets done right - eager to know what others who have installed sas takeoffs have done. Was going to take to Ford dealer if I can figure out which model specs to use, but maybe a shop that can do custom alignments would be better?
