Installed the rough country power steps. Basically the "go rhino" ones re branded at just over $900 for set. I have gone with amp in the past on my trucks but decided to go this route this time. The install is very straight forward thanks to a YouTube video. The magnet alignment wasn't too bad and the exposed wiring doesn't bother me. I also like the included on/off switch if I ever take off my doors.

Thinking about getting these for my 2 door, we take the doors off all the time so the switch would be useful. The wires don't look terrible, but not great either. Overall I don't think it would be a deal killer. Looks good.

Anybody have problems with the rear door sensors? Mine seem to be hitting each other when the door is closed causing the magnet to break and the step to remain deployed with the doors closed. Any alternative mounting locations or am I doing something wrong?

This is, by far, the best video to watch for install help (not affiliated with this account).

Did you put the sensors and magnets under the hinges or on the latch side like the fronts? I positioned them like the fronts because I saw someone in one of the video comments say there isn't enough clearance on his truck to do it the way the instructions say.

I installed the sensors for the rear door by the striker (similar to the front) and they have worked flawlessly for the past year+
