I have no idea if these pieces above the front doors exist with a hard top, but if they do you might have loose bolts like I did

Safelite is the glass claims ADMINISTRATOR for many insurance companies. They steer the jobs to themselves by default. You can request they assign the job to another shop if you want. I went to a local guy that all the high end dealerships in my area use. He got me oem glass. The deductible was...
Mine split right down the middle last summer when I was starting to wash the truck and sprayed cold water on it. Dealer said it happened because there was a tiny chip right on the top edge of the glass. I couldn't see it
Welcome to the land of apologists. Mine is my first and last Ford. Absolutely never again. If my wife didn't like it so much ot it would be gone already. Had a really good offer from carvana back in the spring that I wish I took. That's dropped a lot since then.
6 drop-off/pick up cycles to the...
Man. I think my dealer is mediocre at best, but some of you have straight up despicable ones. Call Ford and start a case.
With mine, "broken pavement " wasn't the issue. It was when the rear axle would hit a bump on an offset, or something like a recessed manhole cover with the left rear wheel...
After having ours done for several weeks now, the driver side window is definitely cured. But, the passenger door window makes more noise than it did before (no noise at all). It's not horrible like my driver window was, but it's happening.
I believe that this goes back to my theory that the...
One of the things I was initially fixated on was the side latches. I wasted a lot of time trying to do things to "tighten" them. It was never the latches (or any part of the soft top frame. It's perfectly quiet now.). Here you go-...
I was chasing rattles and creeking for months before I discovered the problem. No noises from the top whatsoever now.

Just ignore me. Got bad info from my dealer that didn't even do it right the first time.
I just went and pulled open the ends of my rear pieces and they have old dirt in the channels. Definitely not new. They detailed the truck yesterday and I think they wiped down all the pieces with something
It doesn't say the events of rear windows banging is part of the update, but I can assure you that the trim at the base of all 4 of my windows is new. Not to mention, the communication from ford clearly states there is a kit for 2 doors and a kit for 4 doors. Again, I believe they do all 4 doors...
It's all 4 for 4 doors. I suspect this has more to do with the appearance of the pieces matching than anything else. I've never seen anyone complain about the rear door windows banging.
2nd install looks good. Nice and tight all along every piece. Ran over some railroad tracks a few times last night with the front windows in various positions. The glass still wobbles but the horrible banging noises are gone. Yippee!
Had mine done yesterday. Took it back today🙄
They didn't program the driver window correctly and it wouldn't close completely. The piece on the driver door had a big gap under it at the forward end. And the new trim piece on the front passenger door lifted up about 2 inches the first time my...
Mine has multiple fisheyes and a spot on one of the rear doors that's missing color (at the corner of the window seal).
Decided not to let anyone mess with it.
