Replacement Hard Top for a 2 door

My quarter windows were leaking air and the dealership had the hard top replaced. There is still window noise, I can only assume since they did not know the quarter windows were not part of the hard top and had to reinstall the windows. The weather here is finally nice and I was able to take pictures of the new hard top and to my surprise it looks like shit in the sun. Should I ask Ford to replace the top again? It took them months to get it replaced last year.

I had mine changed this week- it took 7 days to order and a couple days to install. The new one looks fine. My back windows were after market tinted- they moved them to to preserve the tinting but it got scuff

Because of the bubbling, yes. But you’re not going to eliminate the noise.

If under warranty, it makes sense to get a free one....but it's a pain in the butt. I am not screwing around with the MIC since I plan to keep my Bronco for several decades. Ordered a Armadillo top and it's in production. The MIC is my only disappointment in Ford. They still have not fixed the design/production issues with the MIC top.

My new 4 door w/hard top I ordered and waited a year on came in perfect. The new 2 door hard top I bought 1.5 years later had the crackling at the dealership before I test drove it. Had it replaced 6 weeks later, perfect, except they scratched one of the side windows about 3/4 inch in middle when they transferred the glass.

I’m not a perfectionist, well let’s say I pick my battles, and this thing is getting used off roading and going to get dinged up, so I wasn’t crying.

Disappointing to see these top just keep getting worse. How did that top pass any of the quality control inspections? Why did the dealership even bother installing it? Does the dealership bill Ford twice? I’m a little bitter because I’m on top number 5. They have lasted an average of 6 months.

Maybe stupid question, but I know people have said it looks really bad but is flat to the touch. Is it physically warped in or outward or just looks like that in the light? Mine is also starting to show odd waves but so far the surface is consistently flat...so far..
