the CEO of Ford has come out and said quality terrible.
There is zero chance that Jim Farley has said quality or build quality of the Bronco, or any other Ford product, is terrible. You're talking about him saying that improving quality is a top priority for the company in the next several years.

You're being way too emotional about this. May as well sell it while you can still get an inflated value out of it. Buy yourself something you're able to be more objective about.

I’m running the Bestop soft top on my 2dr and I like it so much that I’m giving it a go this winter and not putting the hard top back on.
Same. I'm really happy with it and haven't missed the hardtop.

The build quality and QC on some of these is absolute trash. Mine is in that category. I’ve ridden in several now and can say it’s an absolute fact that some of these are built better than others. My buddies don’t have some of the issues mine does, but none of them are perfect. I rented a 4 door hardtop for a week vacation and it was so much quieter on the highway than mine. And none of the squeaking mine has.

I like the Bronco in general, and that’s the only reason I still own it. The amount of time I have had to spend chasing down rattles and squeaks and other QC crap is insane. It’s the worst quality vehicle I have ever owned. The tailgate rattle you mention had me very close to selling. I tore apart the tailgate a second time and completely doused the internals with lithium spray lube and it is gone now. There is a very detailed thread on that one.

I only regret not getting a hard top and not getting tow. Though I'm wondering if my Bronco has bad juju. In two months of ownership I've had interior panels pop off, a cracked windshield and a powertrain malfunction code. More issues than I had with my last four new vehicles combined. It was built on a Sunday so that could be a bad sign. Lol

No regrets, but disappointed in some of the design. Just venting a little about the software bugs. Infotainment center should be raised to top of dash level with the hero switches below it.
Definitely change the dash gauge layout with a retro gauge display. And full frame doors to avoid the automatic window lowering, which in the real world can be a real problem with freezing.
Just some things I would have changed if designing it.

ive been lucky with the quality “issues” that crop up. Only had one warranty issue across the 4 Broncos I’ve had. That being said, I’d wager that those Bronco owners who never had a Jeep prior would definitely be more likely to complain. My previous vehicle was a Wrangler and the Bronco beats the pants off of it by most measures. Prior to that I had an X5, and that was a masterful piece of engineering/ quality. I enjoy the Bronco significantly more than either of my previous vehicles (both ends of the spectrum).

Which build quality specifically? I'm quite happy with the build, it's rugged and rough on the edges as was expected for an off road capable vehicle.
I have read COUNTLESS issues with the Bronco and have experienced most of them. Are the issues with the lower trim levels?
The problem with internet vehicle owner forums is that the negatives are amplified. You are communicating with owners all across the Country. Those with positive experiences are less likely to post..."heh, everything is great". But, a negative and complaining tends to get posted and then amplified. An example, 60 2.7 engine failures and every magazine article and internet forum is slamming the Bronco. It was 60, it got fixed and there are 200,000 Bronco out there doing just fine. Sorry if you are having some issues. Get it all fixed under warranty. Mine is near perfection and I am sure a lot would say the same. But to say that "build quality is off the charts terrible", I do not believe is an accurate statement.

I tend to agree. I love mine and the quality is excellent. I believe the fit and finish is good, paint is beautiful, technology top notch, mechanical is great, I personally like the interior and choice of materials. It's a $50K rig not a $100K rig. The only thing I worry about, long term, is how the MIC will hold up. Mine is fine but the MIC has a bad history, so it is something I am watching. But for the few I have seen to totally say the vehicle quality is bad, etc.....well then sell it.
