I’d link to get a first aid kit to molle under my @Moutains2metal attic. Any recommendations?

Cut to fit, turns any first aid kit (or anything, really) into a Molle compatible item. I use these to hold my generic first aid kit, plus a lot of random tools and such. Works great. Just snug them up, then cut all but a 6 or 8" pigtail off, and sear the edge with a lighter. Does well without working loose or anything. Can probably find these cheaper if you dig around a bit

Here's a version in Velcro if that's more your jam

I think everyone should build their own first aid kit. No other way to be as familiar with what's inside and what it can and cannot treat - and what level of care you are comfortable providing.

Tourniquets, Quik-Clot and chest seals are getting a bit far afield of basic common injuries, for example.

Various Band-aid types and sizes, some antihistamine, sinus, pain relief medications and a burn treatment, along with an assortment of gauze sizes and pads and a wrap of some kind. Tweezers (metal), some saline for eye rinse and you have a decent kit that will be useful and familiar to you.

I agree with above 👆
Build your own (25yr prof FF/PM). I actually do carry a CAT Tourny and Kaolin/Hemostatic Packing (QuickClot). But I'm wired that way  . With everything compressed now you can actually fit a lot in a small kit (you shoulda seen my 'old' one!).
Prefilled kits are mostly just that. Filler (300 adhesive bandages in a 325pc kit).

I went with MyMedic and used my HSA. The one I got comes with straps on the back to attach to molle panels and then the medkit affixes to that piece with Velcro, so when you need it you have the choice to unzip it right there or rip it off the Velcro and take it outside the vehicle

The My Medic stuff is really nice. I have a MyFAK PRO in the Bronco, their waterproof case in my Jon Boat, mini MyFAK in my wife’s truck, Prevention kits with extra bleed mods at our butcher shop.

I've got the Ford Bronco labeled kit from Ford Accessories. It came with my '22 BL.

  • make sure whatever you get has a velcro back. in a hurry, you can just rip the bag off the velcro for quick access
  • agree with those saying build your own. best way to KNOW exactly what you have and why
  • if you do buy a pre-made kit, take the time to familiarize yourself with what's inside and why. And don't be afraid to add/subtract things as you see fit
  • finally, take a Medic First Aid Provider course from your local Red Cross. The most expensive kit might look tacticool hanging off your molle panel, but it's worthless if you don't know what's inside and how to use it
