*Click click click* sound coming from the tires. Probably just a rock (as usual), will check it once I get home.
Yikes! Full drywall blade embedded in the tread, nearly flush (1/2 inch at least, not quite up to 3/4 inch). Pretty deep. Soap test is good. TPMS monitoring drive to work, still good.
26k miles and 3 years on the OEM tires. I was hoping to get at least 35k out of them before springing for KO3s.
Options? Might buy some vulcanizing tire seal and slap it on there as a start. I could put the spare on but I haven’t run 5 tire rotations, so it still has full tread. Could get a shop to match the wear down on the spare? Anyone run into this before? I almost wish it was losing pressure so I could just go buy new BFG tires but my wife would probably give me the eyeball. Don’t really want to run the spare outright unless I can match tread depth - not sure if that will put strain on anything over the long run.
