The other thing I was thinking as I went to both those sites- you are now going to be at clearance marker light width - so you'll have to add the front lights, rear brake light and the side marker lights on the mirrors.

front lights as in grill lights?
rear brake light as in which one?
side marker lights on the mirror aren't necessary, as i already have some mirrors with side markets sitting in my garage, just need to install them

I don't have a problem with people wanting to customize their Bronco; all of us it. Where I have a problem is people that want to "fake the funk" as we used to say in the Army. Those are the people that want to look like they have something they don't. It's like people wearing fake Rolexes, and just letting people think they are real. Just my opinion, but I'd rather keep what I have until I can purchase/afford a BRaptor. It will feel so much better when you actually are able to buy the "real thing" vs faking it.
I changed to look of my OBX to look like a Heritage, so I'm definitely a tribute/clone owner. I liked the look of the Heritage, but not the way it was optioned and I preferred the white wheels versus the Limited wheels. I bought a Bronco with the functional/convenience features I wanted and paid to have the "look" recreated. It wasn't a matter of "couldn't afford the real thing", and I'm totally happy with it.

To be fair, I did leave the OBX sticker on it even though those who would know could tell it's a clone by the round painted flairs, painted mirror caps and knock-off grill. You do you 🤷‍♂️

Nice, i plan on putting my Black Diamond badge back onto the new fenders too, though I might get some custom badging for the name "Jotun" which has been given to the bronco

I get that, for me it's I just like the fenders, and I don't really need or want the rest of the Raptor. Yeah it's better in many aspects but with my bronco I have now, I have plans to mod the hell out of it, so I went with the cheaper one to have more money for mods. In the end, my bronco will exceed a raptor in performance
You really don’t know what you’re saying when you said you can exceed a Braptor in Performance. I don’t think you realize what it takes to get long-travel performance out of a regular Bronco.

That being said I don’t hate the Vicrez kit like I thought I would, except for the Raptor badge on the hood which is an absolute no no in my opinion.

Nobody is going to measure your width and ticket you for not have 3 lights in your grille. lol I doubt you’ll end up that wide anyway. The Braptor has more than just flares. The actual Fenders are wider also and it has a long arm suspension.

The WORST are the BMW people. The “M” cars are such catty people. I’ve owned regular BMWs, M Sport, and an M3. While it’s in a whole class of its own, the people who fake the real M cars usually do it to a degree that even the most untrained eye knows that it’s wonky. At the end of the day, if you enjoy whatever vehicle and aftermarket parts…as long as it isn’t a danger to the public, go for it. Even if it‘s ate up like a soup sandwich!

Truth. I had an FBO 2007 335i (bought new and modded) way back when and some guy with a clapped out E36 M3 said "Couldn't afford an M huh?". :ROFLMAO:

I put a CSL decklid on it and made sure to put the accurate "335i" on it.

i have a shadow black raptor that i may be taking the fenders and flares off of and willing to sell. I believe yours is shadow black as well so u wouldn't have to paint. both the links u posted are not using oem parts.

I was not looking to be like a Raptor , but wanted something Different . I purchased the ADV 8" Fenders with Liners and the hood . I will be Glad to replace the felt inner fender wells with the Glass ones . Went 8" so that when I install the Long Travel its under the fenders as I drive the chit out of mine and do Not like the tires/wheels being outside the fenders . I will admit that I placed my order just Prior to the Big Announcement about the hardtop issue . I received my parts sooner than when they said , and the fitment is Awesome . I have the hood installed now , just waiting to get my truck back to install the suspension and Fenders .

I do though, I've built many racecars over the years, from track to dirt. If I can make a 7 second honda civic that survives enough to drive home without a trailer, or a dirt car complete its laps without dying, I think I can take a regular bronco and make it alot faster than the braptor.. Also, just to clarify, when I say out perform, I mean in a racing aspect.

And agreed, any raptor badges that come on the kits will be taken off before it goes on to the truck, I don't have a Raptor, so I will not have the badging.
