While I'm not specifically interested in a "Raptor conversion" type kit, I do like big fenders, and the Raptor fenders are pretty pleasing. Wide stances should be matched with wide bodies!
Fair enough! They do have some nice widebodies out there, ADV (i think that's who they are) have a 8" wide 1" riser body kit, it looks good too. and Agreed on the stance has to match the body haha I plan on getting some new wheels to match the kit, just gonna do some measuring and then get the wheels correct so I don't have to use spacers

Why do people hate on making a Bronco have the body kit that comes on the Raptor?

The fenders provide more clearance for tires. How is that different than paying even more money and getting the APG kit or Fiberwerx kit? Some people like the OEM+ look.

If someone modifies their Raptor suspension for a better setup, with more capability, should they remove their fenders since it is no longer a "Raptor"?
Because it’s up badging. For the money do something that isn’t wanna-be but never will be.
How many people have gone to car shows and drooled over Cobras or Shelby Daytona replicas, I know I have. How many people drooled over GT500 tribute builds, or any one of a million other muscle cars that get rebuilt and become "tribute" builds?

I don't have a problem with people wanting to customize their Bronco; all of us it. Where I have a problem is people that want to "fake the funk" as we used to say in the Army. Those are the people that want to look like they have something they don't. It's like people wearing fake Rolexes, and just letting people think they are real. Just my opinion, but I'd rather keep what I have until I can purchase/afford a BRaptor. It will feel so much better when you actually are able to buy the "real thing" vs faking it.

I get that, for me it's I just like the fenders, and I don't really need or want the rest of the Raptor. Yeah it's better in many aspects but with my bronco I have now, I have plans to mod the hell out of it, so I went with the cheaper one to have more money for mods. In the end, my bronco will exceed a raptor in performance

I think it would look better with aftermarket fiberglass fenders and would be more unique. Fiberwerx has some pretty big fenders and Anderson as a more subtle option. They seem reasonably priced, I don’t know anything about the quality of these. Fiberwerx actually has Raptor conversion but they use fenders instead of flares, which I personally like better. APG has nice fenders but they’re pricey.

Take my opinion for what it’s worth though, I’m not a fan of the Raptor flares and would want to replace them with full fenders if I did have a Raptor.

I've seen fiberwerx and they look too big and too tall imo, Anderson (from what I've heard) has too many fitment issues, either it being too large and need a shave or too small and need to expand, and APG is way too expensive lol

ADV does make a nice kit, but their raptor kit comes in 4.5" (too small) or 7.5" (possibly too big to run without spacers)

I don't know how you get away with "just the fenders" when the entire stance is wider, axles are completely different etc. I'm all for trying to customize one's ride, but I think you should probably take the best ideas of what you want and try and make it work for your Bronco instead of being on a mission to raptorize that which can't really be raptorized easily - but hey it's your money.

True true, for the stance problem, I know the fenders or any after market wide fender, you will have to run spacers (hell no) or get the correct size/offset wheels. My bronco has the sasquatch package so i wont need to go very far to reach the width of most wide fenders. The wheel is a +35mm which means if I do a -18mm, I gain around 2.5"-3" with a 10" wide wheel, which should fit even the big 8" wide adv fenders. I just gotta do some math and measuring

Either way aftermarket or raptor fenders, I will have to widen the stance regardless

research ADV before if you decide to go with those. Just my two pennys.

They got some issues or something? I haven't put much thought into them for a kit tbh

Heard the fenders are good quality but as a company I would not trust giving them any money at this point.

Ah just did the research into that lawsuit.. Seems APG and ADV aren't to be trusted..

That's one of the things that really look bad on the Forza website. The wheels are too small and are too tucked inside the wheel wells, even with the custom wheels whatever they are. It just looks like a kit. Has me thinking about Bronco kit car on a Fiero, which, a rear mid engine 2 door Bronco might actually be something interesting to see.

My opinion is that it looks like Forza has actually made parts and fit them to a Bronco.

Those pictures by Vicrez seem to be of a digital BRaptor. They even show BRaptor wheels which have a different bolt pattern than other Bronco’s. I just don’t get a trusting vibe from that.

🤷🏻‍♂️

True, it seems bad but I have worked with Vicrez before. I plan on contacting both companies before purchasing anything, I've always done that when it comes to body parts
