If that's your lab, what a great looking dog. My son had a choc. lab, block head male, he was a great dog. I still miss him.Welcome to the party
The GX is likely in the top 10% when it comes to reliability, fit and finish. Probably higher. Old platform, horrible gas mileage and boring but smooth, capable and reliable. Also, limited customization with no $ return on mods but can be built into a nice overland type rig.I just ordered a Lexus GX 460 with the offroad package and V8. Have to admit, looking forward to a classic, boring, totally reliable ride with the best fit & finish in the world!
P.S. i apologize for feeling like a traitor!
I walked away from my Tundra TRD Pro today for this exact reason. At $80K (after tax) I would not be ok with the QC issues I have found. Broncos that I've seen have notably better quality than the latest Tundra. I feel like I haven't seen a single even gap anywhere on that truck. Something popped and clearly broke when I tried to adjust the driver seat and the passenger seat felt like it was stuffed with crumbled up parchment paper in the lumbar support area. The whole interior felt like it's made out of vinyl wrapped styrofoam and there were glue streaks where the various interior door panels meet.I wonder if we went on Toyota forums if people are complaining about similar things. Toyotas, especially the trucks are famous for crappy interiors, irregular gaps, squeaking etc.
Nice to hear something positive on the quality for once.I’m on my 3rd Ford in 14 months. Maverick AWD lariat, BS OB and a Badlands Bronco . I’m pretty pleased with assembly. Nothing wrong with any of the three regarding assembly. No warranty claims on the BS or Maverick. I have to take the Bronco in for pre collision camera not functioning. Other than that it’s good. I’m a pretty picky person. No door gap, seal or window issues. Could things be better on all 3? Sure. Most cars could.
Did you tell the dealer or just posted it here? The dealer can fix all that before you pick it up.So ive been waiting 577 days not as long as most, and my wildtrak came in friday night , so i went to look at it saturday, i was so dissapointed when checking it over, 1) both doors were not flush sticking out about a quarter inch ,2) there was a hole in the weatherstripping above the drivers side door, 3) the window on the passenger side is bearly touching the top weatherstip (air leak) 4) the center weather stip between the 2 front mic top panels is sticking out on the end near the windshield, dont they check these things at the factory ?????
Seriously, it's posts like this that make it sound like the customer is being unreasonable, when in fact, they are completely justified in commenting on the highly variable quality control and in expecting a vehicle built to the factory specifications.Sorry but these are minor details this is no Cadillac. Easy fix be glad you have it and enjoy.
they are working on it, should pick up tommorowDid you tell the dealer or just posted it here? The dealer can fix all that before you pick it up.
Picked mine up today and I have this on both sides. Did either of you talk to your dealer about it? @jmgJust bought a 22 off the lot after the big announcement leaked last weekend and mine has the same problem on passenger side.
