Those of you that had your Bronco held for quality at the factory or during the shipping process - did you find out what the “quality issue” was? And if so, did you have any issues after taking delivery?

One of my Fords (not the Bronco) was held for quality.

You don't get anything specific, just a piece of paper that says the vehicle was picked for quality inspection, and the mileage of the vehicle when it left the factory. Often times it isn't held because there is anything wrong with it. Vehicles get picked at random for quality checks.

That vehicle is my wife's daily driver, and neither she nor I have had an issue with it.

My was held for quality according to the tracker. When it showed up the dealership denied it was held and I received no paperwork.

So far no issues other than the 50 plus miles they put on it with an 8 mpg average.

It’s when they use it for a week at one of the off roadeos. No worries, they wash it up real good, you can never tell the difference.

They accidentally made a VW Passat instead of a Bronco. Your order will be delayed 65.23 weeks.
:crackup:To Westen Champlin that isn't an accident, thats an opportunity!

I ordered a Bronco Raptor in January 2023 and it wasn’t put into production until January 6th of 2024 and then Ford did a quality assurance hold on it. In May I told my dealer that I didn’t want a vehicle that was sitting on hold for 5 months and he ordered me another one. It’s built and will be at the dealer next week. Fords Vin tracker still shows the first one still in production. Go figure.!!! I was never told what the issue was with it. Dealer thought it was something electrical from what he heard.

My wife's 2025 Lincoln Aviator was ordered April 24. Built in early Jul 24 then on QA Hold since 27 Jul before it was "released" on 14 Sep for inspections and re-inspections. No specifics on what those inspections were or what they found/corrected. Now it is sitting around the factory awaiting transpo, maybe two more weeks.

Our quality hold on a 24 2-door HLE lasted ~4 weeks. Of course right after I got annoyed it shipped. Now sitting in the rail yard for the dealer to pick it up!

I can almost see the sign at the plant: "We've gone ## days without a quality hold" :cwl:

My '24 OBX breezed through the factory and right onto the train, and is now on week 9 in railyard quality purgatory. Fearing the worst, I've started looking around for stock units and actually found some better-optioned ones for the same price as the one I ordered. The painted hardtop though is still hard to find stock and that's really what pushed us to order one. We'll see how this pans out.

Mine had a whole sheet that was left on the passenger seat with all the stuff they fixed. Not sure if that's normal or they accidentally left it in there. I got mine right off the delivery truck before the dealer could get to it.

My Bronco was delayed for a week or 2 for quality checks. Never asked or found out why. It arrived slightly late with 83 miles on it. Hasn’t missed a beat, runs like a champ. Don’t sweat it!

Mine was sch to be built 10/14 and the last update was 10/16 ... still "In Production".
Stopped by my dealer 10/25 and was told it is built, but it (along with a bunch of others / if not all recently built Broncos) is in some sort of "Quality Hold".
Interestingly, all Bronco Sports are in the same hold. The sales manager said this is strange since the Sports are made at a different factory in Mexico.

I wonder if the hold on the big Bronco has to do with the recently released UCA nut recall. If the process failure was on the line, they might have to check each one that may have had the issue.

Seems I misread.

Same UCA Nut used somewhere on the Bronco Sport ??

We thought it was more likely a software issue IF it is the same "Q-Hold" on both Big & Little Broncos. If it is different Q-Holds affecting the two factories, then you could be right.
