Looking for insight on this one, I’ve been tracking my Bronco for about 4 months now. It’s AVL at the rail yard about 20 miles from my house. Dealer calls and says that expected date of arrival is Oct 7-13th and informs me that it will require a quality check. I was under the impression that quality checks happen at the plant, anyone had this happen or heard of it? Thanks in advance for your expertise!

The dealer will do a PDI- post delivery inspection, maybe that's what he meant. It's usually just called 'dealer prep'... clean it up, check fluids and tire pressures, and a short test drive.

Thanks Nick, I was able to get a print out a few minutes ago from the dealer. It actually says “Quality Assurance Hold” and the comment was placed the day it shipped.
