I’ve got an OBX Squatch with those “Raptor Style” OEM running boards. I’ll crawl up under and see if the part number sticker is still on it and let you know.
I can almost see the sign at the plant: "We've gone ## days without a quality hold" :cwl:
My '24 OBX breezed through the factory and right onto the train, and is now on week 9 in railyard quality purgatory. Fearing the worst, I've started looking around for stock units and actually found some...
Those of you that had your Bronco held for quality at the factory or during the shipping process - did you find out what the “quality issue” was? And if so, did you have any issues after taking delivery?
The latest story I got today is that its at the railyard waiting to be trucked over to the dealer, but Ford has a hold on it, presumably for some quality issue. Why its sat there for 2 months on a quality hold at a railyard and not the factory is puzzling and concerning. Anyone else...
Congrats! Looks great!
I'm thinking something got damaged on mine or broke because there is no way it should be still sitting if yours moved through TDSI that quickly.
Mine was shipped 7/31 and has been sitting in the destination rail yard since the first week of August waiting on transport with no end in sight. Pizza tracker just keeps bumping the delivery week by a day or two every few days. Last week the dealer heard from Ford that it had been pulled out...
Anytime! Make sure you check out the stickies in this forum with the tracking links, they've been very useful to me tracking the progress. You can start using them once you get your VIN from Ford.
FWIW, I placed an order for a 24 OBX on 5/20, two weeks later had a 7/22 build date, and last Friday it went into production with a 7/26 blend date. I figure it’ll take a month to get from the factory to my dealer so things are definitely better than they have been in the past.
Will be my first...
