I love the way my 2024 bronco drives, but my passenger back roof latch constantly comes undone while driving, my dealership seems to always be to busy to look at it, any ideas on how to fix it.
also after washing it I counted 16 small spots all over the bronco of metal showing. Has anyone else had this issue. If had it for Less then a year haven’t taken it off reading yet, but could have now worried that it will just take off all the paint if I do. 😂😂. Is this a common problem for broncos or just this year??

Pictures? Are all these "spots" in the path of road debris? Rocks pitched off the front tires? Seems pretty severe for one year on-road.

The spots are on the doors mostly lower but there are spots near the door handles and one spot on the back of the bumper above the rear tire and two
On the hood which I can understand.
just seems like a lot of paint to
Come off from just road driving. I have had jeeps and a 4 runner all went off roading a good amount and the paint didn’t chip off as easy as this

I assume you DO NOT have mud flaps? First week I owned my 23WTLUX, I intalled mud flaps on all four wheel wells. That saved me from several pebbles lodged in my tires. Well placed PPF will protect a portion of the hood and that should help. Full body PPF can get pricey.

Looks like stones coming off the front tires..... is it really bare metal, or just e-coat (which is silver/grey and looks metallic)

Modern water-born paint is partly to blame, it's very thin, plus who knows, maybe the robot that painted yours was having a bad day. And being black just magnifies everything.

As mentioned, proper front stone guards will help, along with some PPF if it really bugs you.

There’s a TSB for certain hardtop handle latches that come loose while driving. So I would just bring it to your dealer for that.

I recommend you go to a place where the install PPF/Ceramic coating. Give your VIN and have them correct your paint, hopefully the PPF will give you some protection.

I have a 24 BB with stock tires and none of this pitting. Did you put wider tires on it or commute on gravel roads?

The tires are stock. No my driving is mostly high way driving. It has been on a gravel drive a few times, but that was a few months ago and the pits keep showing up.

You can get clear bra added to protect those areas. It’s only going to get worse if you do nothing

Flaps, maybe a step, this always seems worse on the ones with no rock rails.

what others have said, you're getting chips from the road. Every road is going to have something on it and even worse when it's wet . At least - put on any mudflaps. I drove straight from the dealership to my PPF appointment. Look up how to touch up those chips. iI won't rust, but butter than road rash.
