What additives does Mobile 1 have that make it a better?

It's all proprietary formulations and qty used though I'm sure someone had oil analysis tests on Kirkland.....not worth saving money on IMO.m

I’ve always heard changing oil early is more
important than spending money on great oil.


You still gotta use “good” oil but don’t need to pay extra for it

LOL. You're spending extra money on advertising/name recommendation/marketing/sponsorships of Formola 1, Nascar, Porsche Supercup, Rally Racing, MotoGP etc., all for fighting for a premium price tag. It's easy to sell for the same quality oil for less, when you don't need to do that. The anti-wear additives and detergents all seem relatively the same, however I couldn't tell you what's better in that Kirkland tests at 1367 ppm of Calcium, where as Mobile one is 1237, or that Mobile 1 has 141 ppm more of Magnesium or that Kirkland has 146 ppm more of Boron. But if one wants to spend extra, based on something so abstract as I'm judging oil only by the price tag, have at it.

Get what you pay for (but the question is how long does that ultra cheap additive package last) except in the case of Costco "organic" chicken which is loaded with free steroids delivering "natural" and material breast enhancement - no joke a GFs friend stopped eating it and saw a massive reduction. Probably works on guys too LOL just in case mising chest days haha.

The Kirkland oils put up pretty excellent UOA numbers on BITOG.
