I was just thinking that I'm almost at 3 years with my Bronco as well. My 3 year anniversary will be Feb 17. I didn't order the truck, I had sold my Silverado thinking it wouldn't be too hard to find a 2 dr. It took me a month and a half to find a 2dr base Sas with minimal options but it had to have the mod bumper so the aux switch, brush guard and hoop steps were a bonus. It took a while to find a dealer that would sell at sticker but I eventually found one.

I told myself I wasn't going to modify it (like I do with every vehicle) but I didn't even make it a month before the tires and wheels got swapped. Here it is today with around 8600 miles on it (I don't drive all that much since I don't have to go to work). It has enough engine mods, coilovers, 37's, etc.

How many miles do you have on it?
Glad you’re enjoying it. Loving mine also. 20 months in and 23k on it now.

I keep coming here because a lot of folks here know what they are doing - I have almost no clue and hope some of it rubs off on me. It also helps to be stubborn.

I also got my Bronco in 2023. Before that I had never been off road, and had never done much more than an oil change. I’ve had almost as much enjoyment figuring out crap as off roading with it

I picked up my BL in April of '22 after waiting nearly two years from my July 2020 reservation. That June I spent a week camping and off roading in the San Juans with a friend. We did a week long trip there again in '23, we did the Idaho BDR in '24, and the Colorado BDR in '25. I'm currently sitting at about 48k miles and look forward to many more. The forum has been great for technical and trip discussions.

Just wanna say when u said you downgraded to a BL, I disagree. The BL is better all around compared to WT
Outer Banks is far superior to the badlands. It’s not even close.

He's just biased because that's what he owns.
Sadly I don’t. But it’s the only trim that will out-wheel mine. Badlands doesn’t even come close to keeping up.

Fukifiknow. I just seen’t it do things on dem rocks. Two obstacles the OB could do that ours couldn’t. Badlands didn’t even try.

Sometimes real world trumps theory. Funny how that works.

Could be tires. If I remember correctly the OB has more rubber contacting the road.
