Wifi antennas under a metal hood?

I think getting the OEM switchboard and wiring harness is better resale value to take the time to do it right.

What sort of lag response do these have? Thinking if I use my app to remote start the Bronco it takes a minute. In my head I play the Ron White comedy bit about “satellites were linking up”, lol.

I doubt it would be as bad being a more localized system, but also doubt it’s instantaneous since it’s wireless.

Seems like a cool product but admittedly the part I think makes it most cool is the part that concerns me. I’ve had a mixed bag of results with various wireless products.

Bonus content, go to 3:00 for satellite part.

Zero lag, it is instantaneous because the app is linked directly to the controller rather than to a satellite relay like your Ford app.

ooo spiffy.

Reminds me a lot of the Garmin PowerSwitch, but they don't have an external switch option. I guess their app supports CarPlay/Android Auto though, and also integrates with other Garmin devices, but having physical switches is a nice touch.

I do wish there was a device like this for higher-powered devices though. They're both limited to 30 Amp, and many lightbars, compressors, etc. are closer to 40+ Amp.
For higher amp service just use the switch to control a relay, simple yet effective. That is the purpose of relays, it has been my experience ( 40 years +) that if you are demanding 40 amp service, you are asking a lot of your primary wiring.

Oh yeah, I know. Like I said either, it's a "me" problem.

I just selfishly want a box packed with relays/fuses packaged in a clever way that it installs cleanly in the Bronco so I don't have to spaghetti-wire stuff together.

And hopefully by projecting my selfish desires aimlessly on the internet, someone will make it :D

I wasn't judging , I was offering solutions, and that box that you want... somebody makes. Still run your higher amp through the relay.

I bought the Trigger 4 months ago before I decided to add the stock upfitter switches. I have it for sale here: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/trigger-4-plus-light-controller-nib.108641/
I liked the ease that the installation and use was going to be, but after the stock parts became available, I went that route instead.
How was the stock upfitter aux switch install? Im bummed that at the time, I didn't think I would want those, but now, I do........ ugh

Convenient magnetic attachments make it easy to take the switches with you and drop back into place.
Is there an option for different mounting? Nothing magnetic that I’ve tried hasn’t ended up in the floorboard while off-roading…

Since it is wireless, it can be used almost anywhere. The base plate and the remote are connected magnetically. The lightweight remote partnered with strong magnets helps hold this remote securely. But really the remote can be kept anywhere.
