Why would Ford do this for four doors and not two doors?
I think it's because Ford recognizes that only 2drs are the real Broncos so out of pity implemented this for the 4dr first.

Since I have a real Bronco I have no issues opening/closing my 2 doors and the windows snagging.

So yeah this is probably why.

I just had a dealer update my modules. All looked good when I left but I didn’t realize until I got home that only my drivers side doors are doing it. My passenger doors are not dropping down when I unlock with the key fob. Odd but I don’t really feel like dealing with it for now

This happened to mine also. Luckily, I noticed while at the dealership still. It took them 15 minutes to reprogram the PDM and then it worked fine.

My dealer was able to do the door module update on my 2022 2Dr about a month ago and it works great, no more flopping windows.

And yes it is a 2022 2 Door
What dealer did your update? I cannot find one here to do it.

Update, I found a dealer said they can do it. Thanks

My dealer was clueless when I asked. I did not have the energy to explain it at the time. Next service.

Alright, I checked yesterday and there is an update in FDRS, which I assume is the update for the window feature we're all talking about.
Hey guess what—I finally installed the update.

EDIT— Just a heads up... Ford removed the update from FDRS and it is no longer available. See this post from @Ducati1098 for more information.

Really guys…. My 2006 Lincoln Zephyr does this! All for windows plus the moon roof open. No too innovative.

Not on my to-do list until they go down with the handle. :cautious:

My '23 Wildtrak does not have this
They added it at the tail end of the production year—not sure if we ever figured out the exact date or not.

But as @2022 base said, dealer can do it.

Yeah... that was kind of a bummer. Still way better though.

Also, just discovered that it nudges down if you use the wireless keypad, just in case that wasn't mentioned yet.

Hmm we are talking about the windows going down a bit when the doors unlock and you open the door correct?

My 21 does that. I had it in service for the door key, myself and the tech was trying to get the code pulled up. While it was in the system, he told me there were a lot of updates that I did not have, some for the newer models. So I said ok and he updated everything.

After that, I noticed some changes and did not think much about it. Also, I did get my code for the door keypad :) That is what I was most happy about, as I use it all the time.
What ‘21 model do you have? I have ‘21 big bend and tried doing this at the dealership and they said it wasn’t possible.

Everything built on and after 7/12/23 has it.
