The other thing that I would mention if you are wiring up your own pigtail:

polarity matters. The internal coil wiring is color coded standard red (+) and black (-). I know on the m220 you can unscrew the connector body and pull it out away from the diff housing to verify which pin is which. I’m not sure if you can on a m210 as I’ve never worked on one (yet) but I imagine there is a way, even if it’s popping the cover

if you wire it up backwards it may blow the coil (and fuses and your mind) and that is a huge pain in the butt

No I don't. Hopefully that changes what needs to be changed in the AsBuilt for you!

You should do an AsBuilt backup before and after and compare them to see what changes are made...

Today I spent some more research time and found that the AWD module that I have may not support the Front Locker.

Ford Part Number MB3Z-7P238-E For Open Front Axle (my Bronco)
Sticker Part Number MB3A-7P238-GA
H/W MB3P-14GF581-BA

Ford Part Number MB3Z-7P238-D For Front Locker
Sticker Part Number MB3A-7P238-FA
H/W MB3P-14GF581-AA

Which AWD module do you have? May be that is your missing piece.
I used a mirror to look at the sticker on the bottom of the module.

So steps to take so far.
Install M210
Enable Rock Crawl G.O.A.T Mode with forscan (Already done)
Install OEM wire assembly with ELD connector
Install Hero Switch that also includes Front Locker Switch
Install different AWD Module and configure it. (but how to configure?)
Use ProCal to update from M190 to M210.

Outcome
Still don't know what it would take to configure the different AWD module and if that would complete the puzzle.
According to the Workshop manual after swapping the AWD module I'll need to Use the diagnostic scan tool, complete the PMI process for the AWD module following on-screen instructions. Not sure if Forscan can do the PMI process and I would probably need a different configuration file from an Outbanks with Advanced 4X4, Automatic Trans and Sasquatch.

Note: Looked at the wiring harness that plugs into the AWD module and all of the wires are the required for the ELD, so that harness should be OK.

Yeah, I'm probably not going to even bother with it at this point. I got a front locker that I can turn on whenever I want so... Hopefully you'll get it so others can follow in your foot steps!

Yeah, I'm probably not going to even bother with it at this point. I got a front locker that I can turn on whenever I want so... Hopefully you'll get it so others can follow in your foot steps!

Yeah I'm pretty happy with just using the Aux switch so far.

I think using a switch and relay is a better option…I am thinking about changing mine to switches or at least designing a “By-pass” around the computer after losing my lockers out in the boonies because of a wheel sensor “Event”…

I had planned to purchase the Mongoose and pay as needed the FJDS License (2 day).

The easiest way is to use a donor VIN and FDRS will download the appropriate software to program the module. Program and configuring the module should be relatively straight forward from there. No I have not personally done that with the AWD module, so your mileage may vary and you may also need to program the ABS module as well, as I imagine there could be dependencies that I am unaware of.

Dragging this back up to the top. Is there anyone here who had FAD m190 and swapped to the m210 and did the Ford procal tune? If you have forscan before and after files if you would be willing to share them I would like to do comparison and see if the procal changes something in the awd module that we can just use forscan to change for the fad delete.

I have the 22 OBX 4DR 2.7L LUX Package with Advanced 4x4 (No FAD) and M190 Front Differential.
Putting together a list of parts needed to install a M210 and integrating this into the GOAT system.
Have also purchased the Ford Performance ProCal that allows me to change from the M190 to the M210 and I hope it configures existing electronics properly.
My current harness which Ford calls the "WIRE ASSEMBLY - BRAKE WARNING SWITCH" (base part # 2B325) does not have the connector for the ELD Solenoid on the M210.
I'm pretty sure the the part number for the Hero Switch with Front Locker added is M2DZ-13D730-GA
Two questions I suppose.
Does anyone have the part number for the "WIRE ASSEMBLY - BRAKE WARNING SWITCH" with ELD connector for my OBX?
Has anyone done this successfully using the hero switches?

Stumbled across this old thread, I have a question for the OP, @DRC . I have a BB, no FAD M190. I have 4.27 gears. From reading your original post it looks like you should have 3.73 or 4.27 gears too. How are you reconciling that with the M210, I don't think it's available in 4.27 (or 3.73?)

Stumbled across this old thread, I have a question for the OP, @DRC . I have a BB, no FAD M190. I have 4.27 gears. From reading your original post it looks like you should have 3.73 or 4.27 gears too. How are you reconciling that with the M210, I don't think it's available in 4.27 (or 3.73?)

Thanks, I may go this route using this pigtail and get two terminals for the C1137 connector at the other end of the stock wire harness instead of buying the whole harness. Wanted it to look as if it came from the factory.
Can someone help me locate connector C1137? I think the front right wheel speed sensor twisted pair wires runs through this connector. I have a break in one of the wires and knowing where this connector is would be helpful to finding the break. Thanks.
