Have a slight clunky noise if go over small bumps or push down on front corner of bumper on passenger side. When I do it , sounds like it is from the lower control arm area and if shake can feel slightly in that area . Have 49,000 miles on the bronco but mainly just highway driving , light dirt roads .
Don’t see anything here about replacing lower control arm bushings or if is common.
2024 Big Bend Bronco by the way.

Here is video of noise it makes. Bushing look good by observation but seems be that area of control arm.

Sounds like it could be your CV axle

Can hear it usually in parking lots or going over minor bumps at slower speeds . At speed don’t notice . You think sounds like a CV axle ?

I don’t feel anything in the CV area when I push down on bumper and it’s making the noise. But if hold my hand on lower control arm can feel bit of Vibration through it.

I have a similar noise to this coming from my frontend. I had it on my old suspension and have it on my new suspension (struts, springs, UCAs). I haven’t a clue what it is either

I wheel decently hard, have no issues with anything. Dealership hasn’t commented on it or something being a problem… I’m at a loss

I also only notice it over bumps, particularly speed bumps

I know it’s not my skid plates

I can push down on front bumper on passenger side. Can feel it through the lower control arm but bushings look good from what I can see. Don’t notice it on highway driving but slower parking lots or slight bumps makes this noise . I don’t off-road with it , just mainly highway camping trips .

Not your lower control arm. Those refuse to fail and is extremely rare if it has even happened yet.

I’ve seen knuckles break before the lower ball joint.

that definitely sounds metal clanging on metal which also rules out BJ.

It’s making the noise on the upward movement too so something is topping out. If you feel it in the lower arm then check sway bar end links

I just got under mine and started really poking around. It appears that there is some play on this piece of the passenger front axle, where it attaches to frame

Anyone know if there should be play here, or if I need to tighten this bolt down?

It also appears my front differential is leaking from the fill plug… I just had both serviced and both appear to be leaking. How lovely

Some play there is normal. My 210 is doing the same thing. My M190 axle housing does not move as much but it still moves. Less noise from the 190 too.

I do seem to remember it being less clanky on the 210 then mine is now… but it could just be me. But yea, I have the exact same noise and have had it since I can remember. I used to be worried about it until I went to a dealer and all of them did that off the lot

M190 front here

It did not do this when new, but I’ve beat on it pretty hard off-road and it’s a noticeable sound when driving, particularly with windows down, but also when up

Gonna get a stethoscope and poke around a bit more before doing anything
