I don't think it will happen, but for those who say Lincoln can't build a body on frame vehicle, well, they already do. Both the Navigator (Expedition platform) and Aviator (Explorer platform) are body on frame. By the way, those vehicles are pretty luxurious and quiet. We've had three Lincolns since 2016, and they're pretty nice.

On the other hand, I do think there's a market for a fixed roof Bronco with a panorama roof. I might even be part of that market. Yes, some of you will say it wouldn't be a real Bronco. Well, a lot of folks say that about the Gen 6's anyway.
I haven’t heard many people say that the B6G isn’t a real Bronco and I definitely haven’t heard ā€œa lot of folks say that about the Gen 6s.ā€

The luxury Lincoln and Cadillac trucks didn't really pan out - it seems buyers welcome luxury trims but buying a truck from a luxury marque is a bridge too far.
A Bronco Raptor is already in the same price territory as a Land Rover Defender V8, and I'm not sure we can get close to a true luxury level of refinement without taking it all the way down to the platform and back up. After that, would it really be a Bronco at all?
To get the lux and comfort I think Bronco would need to be redone in terms of some design and materials, thus driving the price up across the board, and my vote is against anything that gentrifies the Bronco pricing. Bronco is just not the vehicle some people should be buying, as much as they might want the image of the Bronco, they really want something else.

If Ford raised the prices on the non-luxury Bronco since the ā€˜21 models, imagine the prices on a Lincoln version.
That being said… I’d be interested.
I loved driving my ā€˜99 Navi, but it had too many electrical issues.

The current Lincoln Aviator (and Ford Explorer) is built on a unibody platform, but previously was body on frame. The new Navigator is still body on frame and very luxurious. The question is could Lincoln put enough luxury and refinement into the Bronco. Maybe, but I think very unlikely.

Lincoln Blackwood FTW!

Bronco is just not the vehicle some people should be buying
Ford sells things. Every vehicle they own is a vehicle anyone should be buying.

Gatekeeping does no one any good.

As an admitted Costco pavement cruiser myself with mine, I agree with the comments on price point for such a car, but also would love to see a Lincoln version of the Bronco too. Perhaps along side the Raptor. Want to spend $90k, then you can either have the pumped up Raptor, or the ultra luxurious "LRonco"!

As a geezer I was around when a Lincoln was different then a Ford. In fact it went like this a Ford, then a step up was Mercury, and top of the line was Lincoln. These makes had more then just fender badges to make them unique. Different motors, and options set these makes apart. Today, none of that exists. The difference between a Ford and a Lincoln is solely in the consumers mind. BTW, if folks were asked would they rather have a Lincoln version of the Bronco, or a Ford Bronco option of a push rod V8, the latter would reign supreme.

Top level Badland's are now 75k$
Not true. Badlands with LUX, SAS, HOSS 3.0, Painted top, $64,300. Add Stroppe paint +$11K Then it's $78K! NOT including 2.7 and auto. 64,300 + 11K does not equal 78...But when you select Stroppe with no options it jumps to 78.

Fixed roof? Perhaps this thread should be moved to the Bronco Sport forum.
The Ford Everest would like to talk to you-It is a Ranger based SUV sold ROW

Given that the plant is super busy building Rangers or Broncos, I seriously doubt they'll add a third product

Oh and FYI cars and trucks are just expensive...a top end Navigator is over a 100K. Other Lincoln products start at $38K for what is a rebadged Escape and the other two start at 50K and I'd assume that the average price for Lincoln transactions are well over 50K

Lincoln sold something like 14 F150's over the course of 8 years(?). This is an idea only Farley could love.
You put some respect on that name… it’s a Mark LT. Completely different from a F150. There’s no blue oval.

Not to mention the vast majority of buyers of a highend Pickup would rather buy a 100K+ Platinum F-series then a Lincoln. The average luxury car buyer doesn't want a pickup.
