Hoping to get a little assistance from the gang here!

Purchased a raptor that came with keyless entry. However, I realized I was not provided the code at the time from the Non-Ford dealership. I contacted Ford directly and they could not provide me a code to match my VIN. I understood as there is no proof to them that I own the vehicle. I then called dealerships in my area. Dealership 1 said they are not able to scan the vehicle for a code and that I need to contact the original seller. Dealership 2 said they might be able to do it but it would cost me $185 of labor/not warranty issue. The selling non Ford dealership does not have the code.

Might anyone know how to reset the code or how to acquire a code lol? Figured I would ask before spending $200 in labor. Thanks in advance.

There is an application dealers have access to retrieve the code through FMCDealer.com (the web portal dealerships have access to).

Not something we as customers can access or reset.

Check your glove box. If the truck came with any paperwork there will likely be a credit card sized card in there with the code.

What year is the vehicle? If the keypad was added on to the vehicle after purchase this process may not work. You should be able to do it yourself. You will need both key fobs. In the center console, place the first key fob in the recessed area at the bottom of the console and press the vehicle Start button. After the 3rd chime, turn the vehicle off. Then take the second fob and place it in the recessed area and press the vehicle Start button. After the 3rd chime, the keyless entry code will appear on the gage display screen.

Probably will be cheaper to buy a new one if the dealer is just gonna give you flak. They are disposable and stick on with double sided tape now ... they aren't very expensive to purchase - but do have to be programmed (there is a DIY tutorial here from @RagnarKon if you have FDRS-compatible adapter)

Agreed on this.

Worth waiting for a sale as you can get these for 20-25% off if you time it right. Dealer installation used to be $25 when included in the purchase, which was a no-brainer. Seems to be higher now.

Have you asked the dealership that sold you the car to contact the original owner and see if they have the code?

Usually, it would be in the same pouch as the owner's manual and warranty papers.

Unfortunately didn’t work
Yeah the trick that @pillar406 mention only works when the keypad is physically wired into the vehicle.

Bronco's keypad, even if installed by the factory, is completely wireless. It is identical to the one @mjp2 posted with the exception of it being painted.

No luck. And no manual with this. All in the sync platform on screen. 🤬. A major flaw imo.

Let me know how it goes. Yeah most of the time we just use FDRS. If you were closer to me I would help you out and look it up for yoy
