Reviving an old thread...I read through a lot of this but maybe I missed it. Can we program the RF keypad ourselves or does it need to be done at the dealer for these Bronco's? I have had this pad on every ford for a long time...I love the thing for many reasons....just going to annoy me if I can't program this one myself like all the rest. Maybe it can be programmed with Forscan?

You can program it yourself but it requires FDRS and a compatible adapter - I don’t think Forscan will do it

Some dealers will program it for a reasonable cost - some are rediculous though.

"Or if you leave it running, just leave the dog inside and then you don't have to worry. Or there's always the trunk monkey if you're really worried."

this^

I never lock my truck and always leave the keys it in....and my dog in the back. I doubt anyone will open the door and get in and if they do, they wont be in there long
