I like to run my plugs around a light brown. your porcelain looks ok but outside of it looks too black. Send the wideband readings from a pull to your tuner and see what they think. Why do you think you need colder plugs?
good to know, I'll look for that when I have a chance and I'm not in a snowstorm. I was only 15 miles from home so I didn't worry about it, if it was at the start of our 4 hour drive I would have dug into it a little deeper but between the cruise warning going off and the parking aid warning...
Friday it was 85 degrees and Sunday driving home it was 33-35 and rain/sleet/snowing out. The roads are plenty warm so nothing was sticking but the snow and ice was sticking to the front of the Bronco so the sensors got covered up as expected. I get the warning that the adaptive cruise can't...
I just had it done on my 23 with no issues....I had bought the key pad before I noticed that you can't do this yourself like I always have in the past without Fords new software.....I just used my points and had the dealer spend the 5 minutes programming it...at least they drove out to my house...
IMO, be careful buying online, the Honda parts are really tough. Look up who it actually is like the dealers posted above, buy from a dealer to make sure they aren't counterfeit parts. I see the dealer near me where I get my discount actually now advertises to sell the parts online at the same...
I keep looking a these and I just can't make it make financial sense for myself. If I had bought a warranty for the Fords I have bought new in the last 20 years (which isn't many as I keep mine quite a while) which is 4 (between the wife and I) vehicles and the warranty I am looking at is...
Well that sucks...my XLT Explorer had it in 15 I thought this would have had it since it came with a tow package....I'll try sport mode next time I tow anything with it....thanks for the replys.
My Bronco came with the tow package but I don't see a tow/haul mode button/switch. both my F150 and Explorer had this and it is nice how it changes the shift points to keep the rpm up when towing and not lug the motor and tans so much. I have searched and can't find it or even much in the...
Is there anyway to get FDRS without the big license fees? Like a trial or anything? Otherwise it just seems cost prohibitive to get it for the backyard mechanic.
I was thinking of doing this one, how does it compare to Moab? I will also wait for it to warm up a bit more. I took my Bronco out on the lake last night to mess around a bit, turned traction control off but I guess stability or something else is still on, I had 2 different lights flashing at...
Oil change tech makes a mistake and damages something....I want a new vehicle???? Sadly there are a lot of people like you out there who just fold when they get the run around and want to avoid confrontation.....this is why businesses do this, they hope you fold and just go away. Push back on...
Friday night we emptied out the firewood trailer and I still had the truck hooked to the big trailer so I thought I would just use the OB to take the trailer down to the farm to drop it off and grab the snowmobile. First off the spare hangs low so I need to open the back up to get it hooked up...
Stock tune on ours and it seems to like 89 octane the best, no idea why. I saw a pretty good jump in mpg going from 87 to 89, a lot more than I expected but I didn't perform the study over enough miles to say for sure. I ran a couple tanks non-oxy 91 and it picked up a little over 89 but not...
I saw the survey and a lot of people like their hood hydraulic props, my question is which one? The Ford version is about $125 and uses 2 bolts on each end and looks pretty good and heavy duty. But then I saw the one from Buckle Up and it is a single connection point on each end and about...
I love the plug and getting oil out fast, that is the only good change. The filter is junk, I left the plug out and the rest of the oil dripping, then screwed the filter housing off and let it drain for maybe 30 minutes before I lifted it out, oil was still up in the cap and gets all over, spin...
I've never had a mess with the spin on, I just put the pan under it to catch the oil.....I've done thousands of oil changes on nearly every make and model without an issue with them, this cartridge is just slower and makes more of a mess which is something I don't like. no way to drop stuff...
